Computer Science & Engineering (Cyber Security)

Department of Cyber Security was established in the year 2023. As a specialized branch of global technology, the B.E. in CS has a huge scope for growth with ample opportunities to make a mark.

CS stream has a lot of potential as Startups apart from Job Opportunities as most of the technology startups have AI & DS integration.

The students apart from competing to acquire CSE related opportunities will also have CS Specialization opportunities with salary package ranging from 4 LPA to 45 LPA. The department continues to grow at a rapid pace in terms of academic activities, publications, and national and international service and recognition.

The Department regularly organizes a series of lectures by academicians and professionals of the highest repute, which lay stress on the latest innovative technologies in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, The Department is partnered with IIT-Bombay for setting up a laboratory and organizing workshop and seminar designed with world-class curriculum. It provides the state-of-the-art research, instructional, and laboratory facilities.

Program Educational Objectives(PEO)

  • 1 Achieve an understanding of the basics and emerging techniques of a broad range of computer science and engineering concepts.
  • 2 Gain the ability to analyze and solve computer science and engineering problems through the application of fundamental knowledge of math’s, science, and engineering.
  • 3 LLearn to apply modern skills, techniques, and engineering tools to create computational systems.
  • 4 Understand the state of the art in the recent areas of research in computer science and engineering and formulate problems from them and perform original work to contribute to the advancement of the state of the art.
  • 5 To be able to adapt to the evolving technical challenges and changing career opportunities.
  • 6 Learn to effectively communicate ideas in oral, written, or graphical form and to promote collaboration with other members of engineering teams.,

  • 1 To obtain a sound knowledge of the theory, principles, and applications of computer systems. Apply knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering in the design and development of software systems.
  • 2 Configure recent software tools, apply test conditions, and deploy and manage them on computer systems
  • 3 Perform experiments on different software packages either obtained from external parties or developed by themselves and analyze the experimental results.
  • 4 Design and develop software projects given their specifications and within performance and cost constraints.
  • 5 Identify, formulate, and solve software engineering problems and understand the software project management principles.
  • 6 Ability to understand the computing needs of interdisciplinary scientific and engineering disciplines and design and develop algorithms and techniques for achieving these.
  • 7 Acquire and understand new knowledge, use them to develop software products, and understand the importance of lifelong learning.
